RWL 706 is a modern and neat-looking square shaped wash basin which, unlike other existing products with exposed pop-up plugs, features a hidden pop-up plug that is not externally exposed. Pop up plugs and overflow holes contaminated with various substances e.g. dead skin cells, hair, cleanser residue, etc. produced over the course of using wash basins create an unhygienic environment. Also, externally exposed pop up plugs and overflow covers suffer from extensive damage (scratches) and become rusty over time, which may result in the build-up of bacteria. The pop-up and overflow holes for RWL 706, however, are all inserted inside the ceramic bowl of the wash basin to reduce the number of scratches they suffer. Moreover, the pop-up and overflow hole are hidden below the soap tray, which means soap water from the soap tray drains directly into the pop-up.
This helps users always keep their wash basins clean and hygienic. To make sure users do not feel uncomfortable with this new configuration, the pop up can be opened/closed easily from the outside. Cleaning is easy as well, thanks to a magnet-type device used for the pop-up.
