1인 가구의 증가로 기존의 방화 셔터 설치가 어려운 원룸, 고시원 등 협소 다가구 주택 거주 인구가 많아짐에 따라 좁은 공간에서 화재 발생 시 더 많은 질식 인명피해가 발생하고 위험도도 증가했다.
설치가 어려운 곳은 방화 셔터의 통로 차단으로 피난에 방해를 주는 것보다 좁은 통로 및 복도 때문에 더 빠르게 퍼질 수 있는 연기와 유독가스를 막는 제연창 역할을 강화하고 피난 시에도 방해하지 않는 디자인을 적용했다. 기존 셔터의 설치에는 대형 롤러와 레일 설치가 필요해 협소 공간에 적용이 어려웠는데 에어백 팽창을 사용해 쉽고 간편한 설치와 작은 크기에서 쉽게 펼쳐지는 형태를 디자인했다.
공기압의 팽창성, 탄력을 이용해 레일이나 모터 필요 없이 통로를 꽉 채울 수 있고 별도의 문 없이 탈출할 수 있다. 또, 내부에 소화 분말을 넣어 화재 지연 기능, 자체 화재 감지와 IOT 기술과 연계하여 화재 구역 통제, LED를 사용해 피난 안내가 가능하다. |

Existing fire shutters have been applied to buildings such as large shopping malls, department stores and government offices. However, due to the increase of one household, the number of people living in small multi-family homes such as studio apartments, which are difficult to install shutters, those small spaced homes have more risk for asphyxiation when fire.
For easier installation, more affordable price, and less interference of escaping, "Air shutter" was designed to use 'air mattress type barrier'. With using its own air pressure "Air Shutter" doesn't need any additional doors and fills the corridor width with its elasticity and flexibility. |
