Ublo is a circular ventilation window installed on a perforated glass that is operated with a rotating motion similar to that of a bottle cap. The glass does not require any additional opening or closing frames like the existing windows. The name Ublo itself is derived from the word “hublot” which refers to the round window designed to put less pressure on ships and airplanes. With the recent environmental problems such as fine dust and coronavirus, natural ventilation that can improve indoor air quality has become a very important issue in our lives. Ublo offers a safe and efficient ventilation window that is different from uniformly designed window products in mass market. While existing market prefers the thicker frame for thermal performance, Ublo seeks a niche by reducing the frame portion that causes heat loss while ensuring visibility.
Ublo ventilation window is installed on the glass with any desired location and quantity, while the operating cover of the ventilation window can be customized with additional function or material according to the user's preference. As seen from the outside, the round shape becomes an exciting architectural feature, while for the space users, it becomes a removable window that can be hung to the circular frame.
