Located at the end of Mt. Bongsan, the site topographically corresponds to the valley that leads to the mountain. The ‘DMC Lotte Castle the First’ has a long square-shaped exterior space fragmented by the structure standing in a line on the high level. Conceptualized as a ‘resort valley’ surrounded by forest, it is composed of dense connected spaces with storytelling concept. The center of the complex has been made into a beautiful “valley,” which functions as a ‘path’ along a series of water sceneries using level differences such as Sparkling Valley, Pine Tree Forest Square, Gallery View Cafe near the water of Mt. Seokgasan which is the center of the landscape, and Party Forest Garden that leads overhead. In addition, the streamlined play and exercise spaces inspired by the valley feature a unique view through the magnificent expression of the forest and resort, which are tinted with natural colors throughout the four seasons. |
