Seeing that Koreans sit on the floor even though they have a sofa in their house, we wanted to design a furniture that fits our lifestyle. Unlike the conventional sedentary chairs, we have applied a comfortable form to sit, and we defined it as a "sedentary lounge chair." The shape was taken from a 'Podaegi', so we named it the 'Poom' (Embracing is pronounced "Poom-da" in Korean).
The chair has two main features.
First, it is relatively small and light, making it suitable for the single-person families. Second, the color of the cushion and frame can be customized. It's able to target the millennials who want to own products that reveal their individuality. |
