Eun Woo Cho explains through her work (AI, Brain Wave & Ideal City) that use brain waves to create a virtual space / time in a hybrid form of how the brain waves and objects communicate with one of the most important UNTACT technologies in the post-corona era. Her work Inspired by the Italian Renaissance painting The Ideal City (1480–84) attributed to the architect and artist Fra Carnevale (1420–1484), Cho has in the installation (AI, Brain Wave & Ideal City) Revised Version created a diorama of spectrum reflective plexi-glass panels and columns placed in a grid filled with thousands of LED bulbs connected to sensors responding to a computer program. The program takes input from a wireless headset responding to EEG signals from the brain of the participant, which in turn activates the lights within the columns. The brain wave and art work actives based on the input from a wireless headset responding to signals from the audience’s EGG signal. |
