With previous handles, consumers were unable to clearly identify whether windows were completely closed after closing the windows. Also, because previous handles were straight handles, enough space was not provided for the user’s hand to fit between the window frame and handle when the user opened and closed the window, resulting in the user’s hand getting stuck. Many consumers voiced inconveniences in this regard.
The Tethis handle provides a lock-shaped window-locked indication function on the front of the mount that features a high level of visibility in that it turns red when the window is fully locked. Consumers can immediately see and check whether their window is fully closed without having to take separate action. A diagonal line was adopted to provide enough space for the user’s hand, while maintaining the neat design of previous handles. It is easy to grab, and, aesthetically, it sports a design that naturally blends into diverse space.
Moreover, a modular design method was applied from the exterior design to the interior hardware design so that it can be applied to the currently mass-produced Tethis handle as well as new products that will be developed in the future, resulting in manufacturing process efficiency and cost reduction.
The handle is available in two colors - dark metal/silver - so that consumers can make a choice that fits their respective interior. |
