For the new Hankook Tire i*cept evo3, Alpin Studless Performance Tire, we have applied numerous technologies to optimize the handling and braking performances. To this end, we have used the new generation silica compound, including newly engineered natural ingredients, to secure stability on wet and snow-covered roads, and have combined this with the stylish V-Shape Pattern design to successfully improve both the exterior design and anti-hydroplaning. From a technical point of view, as the Zigzag Lateral Groove at the center works at any angle during cornering, handling and braking have been made +easier. As the Water Pipe Kerf on the shoulder helps with additional drainage, and the 3D Kerf also improves stiffness, shoulder block stiffness is maintained even though the lateral groove is wider. In addition, the wider shoulder block and the reduced thickness of the kerf have enhanced not only the wet & snow road performance, but also the dry performance, thus ensuring the best quality for the Winter Ultra High Performance Tire. |
