This work is reinterpreted by combining the meaning of JOGAKBO, a Korean martial art, with the value of upcycling. JOGAKBO is a artifact that originated from the old ancestors' efforts to make expensive hanboks and to put the remaining silk together.Regardless of the various types and colors of silk, I thought that sculptural beams had the meaning of an upcycle, such as sewing them into cushions and other gyubang crafts. The new bag series is made by cutting or attaching various discarded or limited-use materials such as waterproof tents(tarpaulin), tyvek, and straps like JOGAKBO. Since then, it has been designed to make storage space using flexible bands or to to adjust size. |
